A big improvement over the species, ‘Sensation’ offers a slower, more controlled, and much more uniform growth habit. The branching structure is also much improved. Foliage is a pleasant medium green in summer, and changes to a lovely bright red color in autumn. Zone 5-6, also shown to do well in zone 4b.
