Koelreuteria Paniculata
Native to China and Japan, this small tree grows well in a wide range of soils, and is tolerant of heat, drought, wind, alkalinity, and air pollution. The bright yellow flowers are borne in large 12-15″ panicles in July, followed by greenish fruit pods throughout the summer.
