Shrub valued for its racemes of fragrant white flowers that occur in June and July, when few other shrubs are in flower. Prefers moist, fertile soils, and will do well in sun or shade. Foliage changes to scarlet and crimson in fall. 1999 MI Growers’ Choice Award.
