Stewartia pseudocamellia
Blooming in mid summer, Japanese stewartia has showy white camellia-like flowers that mature into brown seed pods. Dark green leaves will turn brilliant hues of yellow, red to dark purple in autumn. The bark is beautiful, with exfoliating strips in varied hues.
